The willow that you’ll be using will have been harvested sustainably in the UK. Karina will be talking you through how it’s grown and where.
You’ll earn a number of basket weaving techniques including a pairing weave, three rod wale and a trac border. If that means nothing to you, don’t worry. It’s a great introduction to basket weaving and is designed for complete beginner. Likewise, an old hand will still get a great deal from it. You’ll find Karina to be a most personable host and guide. As she expertly guides you through the day she’ll be passing on titbits and tales and leaving you yearning for time to take in her company.
This class is aimed at novices and beginners, but suitable for all levels. You’ll be open to explore the delights of pottery making with guidance of our expert crafters.
